Privacy Policy
How information submitted through Fussball.TV is collected, used, retained, and deleted. Aligned with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and with the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are
Fussball.TV is a single-page domain acquisition inquiry site operated privately by the registered owner of the domain fussball.tv. There is no associated company, broker, or marketing operation. The site exists to receive private offers to purchase the domain and to provide context about its market.
For the purposes of GDPR, the domain owner acts as the data controller for any personal information you choose to submit through this site. For the purposes of CCPA/CPRA, the domain owner is the business that collects your information.
2. What information we collect
We collect only what you voluntarily submit through the offer form on the homepage. Specifically:
- Your name (so we know who is writing)
- Your email address (so we can reply)
- Optional: company or organization
- Optional: country
- Your offer amount in USD
- The free-text message you choose to write
- Technical metadata attached to the form submission by our form processor, which may include IP address, user-agent string, and timestamp, used solely for spam prevention
We do not run analytics scripts. We do not set advertising cookies. We do not embed third-party trackers. The site uses Google Fonts for typography, which fetches font files from Google servers; this is the only third-party request made by the page on load.
3. How we use it
Submitted information is used for one purpose: to evaluate and respond to your offer or inquiry regarding the domain. Specifically, we may:
- Read your message and reply by email
- Negotiate terms with you directly
- Reference the offer history if a sale eventually proceeds
- Retain a record of correspondence for our own bookkeeping and tax purposes
We do not use your information for marketing. We do not send newsletters. We do not place you on a mailing list. We do not sell, rent, share, or trade your personal information with anyone.
4. Legal bases for processing (GDPR)
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other GDPR-aligned jurisdictions, we rely on the following legal bases under Article 6 GDPR:
- Article 6(1)(b) — pre-contractual steps. When you submit an offer, processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
- Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests. For spam prevention, security, and bookkeeping, we rely on the legitimate interest of operating the offer process and keeping records of communications. Your interests and rights have been considered and are not overridden.
5. Form processor
The offer form is delivered to us by Web3Forms, a third-party form-handling service that forwards submissions to our email address. By submitting the form, your data passes through Web3Forms' servers in transit. Web3Forms acts as a data processor on our behalf. We recommend reviewing their own privacy and terms documentation if you would like more detail about how transit handling works on their side.
If you would prefer not to use the form, you may always email us directly at offers@fussball.tv, in which case the data flows only through your email provider and ours.
6. Hosting and CDN
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which serves the static HTML, CSS, and font files. Cloudflare may log standard request metadata (IP, user-agent, timestamp) at the network edge for security and abuse-prevention purposes. We do not access these logs for marketing or profiling.
7. Cookies
This site does not set any cookies of its own. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no preference cookies. The font CDN may set technical cookies as part of font delivery; we have no control over these and they are not used by us.
8. Data retention
We retain offer correspondence for as long as is reasonably necessary to evaluate the offer, complete any negotiation that follows, and meet bookkeeping or tax obligations. Where no negotiation results from an inquiry, we typically retain the message for up to 24 months and then delete it, unless an earlier deletion is requested.
9. Your rights — California (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients
- Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to limited exceptions
- Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information — note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under CCPA/CPRA, including for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information — note that we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by CPRA (we do not collect government identifiers, account credentials, geolocation data, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, union membership, health data, or contents of mail/email/text outside the message you choose to send us)
- Non-discrimination for exercising any of the above rights — we will not deny you the ability to inquire about the domain or charge a different price because you exercised a privacy right
Categories of personal information collected (CPRA disclosure)
In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information from offer-form submissions:
- Identifiers: name, email address, IP address (collected by form processor for spam prevention)
- Commercial information: the offer amount you propose
- Internet activity: request metadata (user-agent, timestamp) collected by hosting/CDN at the network edge
We have not sold or shared any of these categories in the past 12 months and do not intend to.
How to exercise your California rights
Email offers@fussball.tv with the subject line "CCPA Request". We will verify the request via the email address on file (or by a reasonable alternative if you no longer have access to that address) and respond within 45 days as required by statute, with one 45-day extension permitted where reasonably necessary.
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require written proof of the agent's authorization and may verify the agent's identity directly with you before processing the request.
10. Your rights — EU / UK (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten") in the circumstances set out in Article 17
- Restriction of processing under Article 18
- Portability — to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format
- Object to processing that is based on legitimate interests
- Lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority — for the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); for the EU this is the data protection authority of your member state
To exercise any of these rights, email offers@fussball.tv. We will respond within 30 days.
11. International transfers
If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that information you submit will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ. By submitting the form, you understand that your information may be processed in jurisdictions other than your own.
12. Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through the form, please contact us and we will delete it.
13. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections to the form processor. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect submitted information against loss, unauthorized access, and unauthorized disclosure.
14. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be summarized at the top of the page for at least 30 days.
